Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia is a massive museum of art and
culture showing the highlights of a collection of over 3 million items spanning
the globe. The museum collections have been open for the publics eyes since
1853 , which are just a portion of the museums permanent collection. The
collections take up the space found in six historic buildings, making them the
holders of the worlds largest collection of paintings in the world.
